DOGS AND CATS HAVE DIFFERENT NUTRITIONAL NEEDS AFTER 7 YEARS OLD
Because dogs and cats have shorter lifespans than people, some pet owners don't realise it when their pet reaches a senior age. Small and medium breed dogs, as well as cats, can be considered "middle age" when they turn 7. Large breed dogs are considered middle age when they turn 6. Senior dog or senior cat age occurs around 11 years old. Many older dogs and cats often develop many of the same age-related issues seen in older people.

GENE EXPRESSION IN SENIOR DOGS & CATS IS DIFFERENT THAN YOUNGER PETS
At Hill’s, we’ve been studying how nutrition impacts pets’ cell function for over a decade. We've learned the ways that a senior dog or senior cat's age can be complex, slowing them down both mentally and physically.
