Dr. Carnagey earned her PhD in Nutritional Sciences from Iowa State University in 2006. After a brief postdoctoral research assistantship, she began her career in companion animal nutrition at P&G Pet Care in 2007.
She joined Hill’s Pet Nutrition in 2015. Dr. Carnagey has enjoyed broad experiences during her career, ranging from formulation and product development, regulatory, claims substantiation, clinical research, nutritional standards management, wearable technologies, and most recently, technical communications.
Her passion is to share companion animal nutrition with veterinarians and pet parents via bespoke communications that resonate, leaving veterinarians better prepared to help their clients and giving pet parents a better understanding of how proper nutrition can help them care for their pets.
